Question |
What do respected scholars and Muftis of Islam say about the following issue? What is the definition of Hajj Akbar? |
Islamic jurists
have different opinions about Hajj–e-Akbar. The famous opinion is that the
day when the Holy Nabi
وَسَلَّم performed Hajj is called
Hajj-e-Akbar. It was a Friday when that Hajj was performed. Therefore,
rekindling the memory of the Hajj performed by the Beloved and Blessed
وَسَلَّم, the Muslims call the Hajj that takes
place on Friday, Hajj -e-Akbar. |
